Artist Satement

 I always wanted to be an artist and feel that all my earlier creative endeavors as  a pastry chef were prep work for my present day career as a full time painter, and all round visual artist.

I truly feel that to be a contemporary artist today we have to be aware of the world around us, a world that has unfortunately become very complex and difficult to navigate.

Through my art I try to simplify the chaos around me.

My fruit? I use fruit as a metaphore for life, I see it as a simple element of physical and visual pleasure, with it's pure forms, sensual shapes and amazing colours.

I paint only for me, for my satisfaction without trying to justify my intentions as an artist, but with the underlying hope that the viewer will find some pleasure in each work of art.

Each day presents itself as another opportunity to learn and grow. To be an arist is very complex and encompassing, each work of art is created with passion, love and boundless energy.
